Share & Google News (Single Post) – JurnalPress Theme
The Share & Google News section configures social share buttons and adds a custom Google News URL on Single Post pages.
These settings let you choose share platforms, display positions, and visual styles for share icons.

This section has two main tabs:
- General → Functional and position settings for share buttons
- Style → Visual appearance settings for share icons
General Settings
1. Share Button
Choose and configure the social platforms to display.
Key features:
- Drag & drop to reorder buttons
- (+) button to add share platforms
- Facebook cannot be removed
- Each platform has a Hide on Mobile option
Available platforms:
- Telegram
- LINE
Per‑platform option:
- Hide on Mobile
Hide the share button on mobile devices.
2. Google News URL
Add your Google News publisher URL.
Field:
- Google News Url
Example:
https://news.google.com/publisher/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
This URL is typically used for integration or as a Google News publisher marker.
3. Before Content & After Title (Post)
Enable share buttons below the post title and before the content.
- Default: Enabled
- Good for increasing share button visibility early in the reading flow
4. After Content (Post)
Display share buttons after the article content.
- Default: Enabled
- Commonly used as a call‑to‑action after readers finish the article
Style Settings
1. Color Type
Choose the color source for share icons.
Choices:
- Default
Use the default color of each social platform - Custom
Use user‑defined manual colors
2. Color
(Enabled only if Color Type = Custom)
Manual color settings for share icons:
- Icon → Warna ikon
- Background → Warna latar ikon
3. Style
Choose the visual style for share icons.
Style choices:
- Background → Icons with colored background
- No Background → Icons without background
- Border → Icons with border
4. Border Radius
Adjust the corner radius of share icons.
- Supports per‑side control (top, right, bottom, left)
- Larger values produce more rounded icons
5. Padding
Adjust spacing between the icon and its background or border.
- Useful to increase the clickable area
- Helps achieve proportional appearance
6. Icon Size
Set the share icon size.
- Minimum: 10px
- Maksimum: 40px
7. Gap
Set spacing between share icons.
- Minimum: 5px
- Maksimum: 30px
- Berguna untuk tampilan desktop maupun mobile
Catatan Tambahan
- All changes can be previewed in real time in the Customizer
- Position combinations (before & after content) can be used together
- Default Color is recommended for consistency with social platform branding
